We work with customers across 28 countries from 10 VOIS locations: Albania, Egypt, Hungary, India, Romania, Spain, Turkey, UK, Germany, Ireland, and with a network of teams in Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, and Portugal.
About this role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our Finance team in managing daily accounting operations. This role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, verifying invoices, reconciling balances, and assisting with audits and reporting. You will play a key role in ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial processes.
What you will do
- Verify accounts payable and receivable invoices reported or received through the SPV portal.
- Perform GL balance checks and disclose open items, requesting corrections where necessary.
- Collect supporting documents for vendor and customer invoices.
- Analyse GR/IR reports and take action on old open items.
- Request cost centre expense reclasses for month-end closing.
- Monitor timely invoice processing and provide support to resolve any blockages.
- Reconcile vendor balances.
- Check tax codes and initiate corrections for incoming and outgoing invoices.
- Manage corporate credit card issuance and closure in line with company policies.
- Review employee debts during the month and in case of leavers.
- Provide support for statutory audits, physical inventory, and SAF-T reporting.
Who you are
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficient in PC operations and MS Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Economics.
