About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Java & Spring Boot Developer with 5–8 years of experience to join our ITP&A department in Pune. The individual will be responsible for designing scalable applications, collaborating across teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery using modern development practices and tools. This role demands strong technical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, along with experience in cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.

What you’ll do

• Architect and design robust, scalable, and maintainable applications
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Resolve complex technical issues and optimise performance
• Collaborate with DevOps, UI/UX, QA, and product teams for seamless delivery
• Estimate development efforts and manage project timelines
• Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Work with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and NoSQL
• Integrate Kafka and email listeners into application workflows
• Use containerisation tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies in daily operations

Who you are

• Proficient in Java (JDK 8+) and Spring Boot framework
• Experienced in Hibernate/JPA and RESTful API development
• Familiar with Angular/React (preferred)
• Skilled in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Knowledgeable in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, MCA, or a related field
