Job Title: Senior Developer – Java Full Stack Development

Location: Devanahalli, Bangalore North

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with deep Java/J2EE expertise to join the SuccessFactors Application Engineering team. You will architect, build, and optimize cloud-scale, multi-tenant services and robust APIs that power SAP SuccessFactors. This role is hands-on and high impact, focusing on modern Java platforms, performance, security, and reliability for enterprise SaaS. You will also help evolve next generation’s frameworks and automation, with opportunities to incorporate AI-assisted development.

What you’ll build

  • Architect, design, and implement new features using Java and the existing technology stack in an agile team environment.
  • Develop robust services using Java, Spring, and REST, with deployment via Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native CI/CD tools.
  • Partner with developers, architects, and cross-functional scrum teams, leading by example.
  • Deliver scalable, distributed systems and ensure secure, cloud-compliant deployments with practices like zero-downtime releases, canary deployments, and feature toggles.
  • Build deep expertise in the Human Capital ecosystem, contributing enhancements and new capabilities.
  • Drive the full development lifecycle — from requirement analysis and architectural planning to development, testing, and delivery.
  • Explore areas of specialization aligned with your interests: full-stack engineering, DevOps, software security, QA automation, or business processes.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers in navigating design and implementation challenges.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement mindset in the people and showcase innovation in deliverables.
  • Trouble shoot critical production issues.

What you'll bring

  • BE/B.Tech/M.Tech (full-time) from premier universities with good academic background along with 7 to 12 years of relevant experience with a solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
  • Proven track record in design and development of large scale distributed and highly concurrent applications using Java/JEE and related technologies.
  • Experience with any Front-end technologies React, Angular or any UI framework is an added advantage.
  • Proven programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Expertise with database programming, migrations scripts, Query tuning etc is an added advantage. Expertise in Spring 3.0+, REST, OData, Kafka, ORM frameworks.
  • Expertise in Unit Testing and TDD/BDD methodologies. Proficiency in OOAD, Design Patterns and anti-patterns.
  • Proficiency in SaaS, multi-tenancy, Splunk and any public cloud offering (Azure preferable)
  • Working knowledge of Microservices, Domain Driven Design and DevOps is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and innovative mind set Proficient with Agile Methodologies
  • Proficient with security principles like OWASP. Expertise with AI tools, frameworks or libraries.
  • Experience with MCP, agent/tooling frameworks, or secure model integrations is a plus
