Job Description

Your day to day:

Coding, data, technology – that’s your world! Be part of our Digital Operations Teams and shape new and innovative solutions for the transformation of Vodafone towards the Digital Telco.

As a member of the Vodafone Network Operations Software Development team your main focus will be to build IP connectivity to allow for data aggregation towards a central platform as well as execution of central commands towards the local network

Develop connectivity solutions together in an interdisciplinary team of data engineers, software developers and system specialists.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

  • Manage the IP Connectivities implementation life cycle (Design, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting).
  • Manage the respective security requirements
  • Manage data privacy requirements.
  • Steer and track the approvals and implementation process.
  • Participate in the planning and designing stage of solutions
  • Be up-to-date in terms of current and future technologic trends;

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • A completed technical or scientific degree
  • Experience in the planning and configuration of IP networks.
  • Problem solving and solution-oriented thinking
  • Ability to bring together experts from different areas of the organisation and drive joint problem solution
  • Experience in cloud technologies
  • Systems integration and communication technologies, i.e. REST, HTTP/S, SNMP, SSH, SOAP and others.
  • Excellent knowledge of network infrastructure and network protocols (TCP/IP, MPLS; IPsec, (Open)SSL, VPNs, firewall)
  • Experience working with Corporate Cybersecurity on infrastructure or applications security compliance and remediation activities
  • Fluent in English.
