About this Role

We are seeking a German Recruitment Screening Specialist to support recruitment activities for German-speaking candidates. This role is responsible for conducting initial candidate screening interviews, assessing suitability against role requirements, and ensuring an excellent candidate experience throughout the early stages of the hiring process. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition teams to support hiring goals efficiently while maintaining high-quality recruitment standards and compliance requirements.

What you will do

  • Proactively source and attract German-speaking candidates through job boards, social media platforms, employee referrals, talent databases, networking activities, and other sourcing channels.
  • Conduct initial HR screening interviews using telephone and virtual communication platforms.
    Assess candidates against predefined job requirements, language proficiency, experience, skills, and organisational alignment criteria.
  • Evaluate candidate motivation, availability, salary expectations, and relocation requirements where applicable.
  • Prepare accurate candidate summaries and screening recommendations for recruiters and hiring teams.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate recruitment activities as required.
  • Update and maintain candidate information within Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies and data privacy requirements.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team in achieving hiring targets and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Contribute to initiatives that enhance candidate engagement and overall recruitment experience.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Languages, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, sourcing, customer service, or HR operations is preferred.
  • Experience working within high-volume recruitment environments is advantageous.
  • Fluent German is mandatory.
  • Good to excellent English language skills (written and spoken) are mandatory.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with ATS platforms is advantageous.
