Role Purpose

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Digital Media Manager to lead our digital initiatives. This key role aims to optimize our online presence, engage our customers through segmented brand activations for Vodacom, and maximize the impact of our digital campaigns.

Main responsibilities

1. Strategy and Management of Digital Campaigns
- Develop and execute digital strategies aligned with Vodacom/M-pesa brand objectives.
- Amplify sponsorship activities through innovative digital activations.
- Create interactive experiences tailored to different customer segments (Mass Market, Youth, Premium, B2B).

2. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with brand, trade marketing, commercial, and product teams to effectively promote services and innovations.
- Work in synergy with sponsorship, event, and CRM teams to ensure campaign consistency.

3. Reporting and Performance Optimization
- Track and analyze digital campaign KPIs (engagement, conversions, ROI).
- Implement A/B tests to improve content and ad effectiveness.
- Prepare regular reports based on analytical tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, etc.).

4. Budget Management
- Plan, monitor, and optimize the digital campaign budget to maximize ROI.
- Produce financial reports to justify investments.

5. Innovation and Leadership
- Identify digital trends by region to maintain brand competitiveness.
- Manage internal teams and coordinate external agencies for smooth campaign execution.

Desired Profile

- Education:
Master’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- Experience:
Minimum of 7 years in digital media management, preferably 4 years in a telecommunications company or a similar sector.
- Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SEO/SEM tools, social media management, programmatic advertising.
Expertise in data analysis tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights).

- Personal Qualities:
• Creativity and a sense of innovation.
• Leadership and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in English and local languages would be a significant asset.
