What you’ll do

• Ensures successful operation, coordination and inter-domain alignment of charging operation services.
• Provides expert level technical support for predicting, diagnosing, reproducing and fixing charging operation service issues
• As a service owner, drives end to end ownership of the Vodafone customer experience, the quality of end to end service performance and the processes supporting the product/service.
• Provides recommendations to improve and address/lead critical issues and root cause analysis by coordinating other related service domains
• Actively contributes to the troubleshooting, dimensioning and performance tuning of charging products. Performs necessary infrastructure deployment / maintenance activities and migrations.
• Identifies dimensioning, performance and integration issues and proposes optimal solutions.
• Collaborates across product owners/vendors and related stakeholders to come up with a compelling solution.
• Provides expert level technical guidance and recommendations to other team members by means of coordinating and tracking related tasks.
• Works as on-call support representative of the team to provide 7*24 support according to a predefined shift plan.
• Makes capacity planning to secure availability and performance of the platforms and systems against forecasted growth and demand.
• Ensures achieving / exceeding agreed service levels and KPIs for the Service Support.
• Provides standardization / automation of technical processes.
• Deploys new products and services.
• Creates and manages performance tuning of applications to meet business needs and agreed SLAs.
• Reports to stakeholders on product performance and supplier/partner performance.
• Leads and actively takes place in internal and external audits related with common standards and regulatory obligations. Ensures compliance of Charging Systems with related standards.
• Prepares high availability, disaster recovery and site redundancy plans, keeps them updated and performs tests when requested.
• Contributes preparation of Charging Operations budget according to requirements for run, grow and transform scenarios.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree from Computer Science, Electronics / Telecommunications and other related fields.
• Significant experience in IT and Telco infrastructure, Intelligent Network technologies, charging products and services for postpaid, prepaid and convergent structures
• High level of expertise in service incident handling, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Experience of handling high frequency streaming data for real time analysis and reporting.
• Good knowledge of statistical Analysis (distribution analysis, correlation, variance)
• Good command of English.
• Good understanding of multi-discipline telecommunications big picture.
• Significant experience in using SQL , PL/SQL .
• Significant experience in UNIX and shell scripting.
• Significant knowledge of Oracle database administration.
• Ability to use analytics, network security, network monitoring and administration software programs.
• Ability to work in flexible work hours under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Having strong coordination, analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in benchmarking and budgeting.
• Strong solution design and solution architecture skills.
