Azure DevOps/Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps/Cloud Engineer with solid background implementing Cloud and automation solutions:

  • You develop Cloud Platform for Vodafone Business products aligned with Solution Architects.
  • You put focus on the evolution towards Infrastructure as a Code through automation scripts and specific tools.
  • Align with DevSecOps guidelines.
  • You make our platforms reliable and observable: whether implementing improvement measures, automating validation checks, setting up monitoring activities.
  • You pay special attention to maintaining the cloud infrastructures on which our projects are based.
  • Perform evaluation of infra requirements, design and build environments using containers or virtualization in Public or Private Cloud.
  • You work on an autonomous and horizontal team, where your decisions counts!

What you bring

  • Practical experience (at least 2 years) on Platform, DevOps, SRE or Cloud Engineer role.
  • Cloud competencies in Azure Services. This includes Azure AD/Entra Id, Azure VM, Networks, Functions, Load Balancer.
  • Azure DevOps, Pipelines, Azure Monitor, Key Vault, Backup, Update Manager, RBAC.
  • Scripting (e.g. Python, Perl, PowerShell, Bash, Groovy or similar).
  • Experience in Infrastructure as a Code (e.g. Ansible or Terraform).
  • Platform Lifecycle. Patching, updating, control access, security upgrades.
  • Linux fundamentals (networking, standard services).
  • Advanced level of English

Nice to have:

  • Azure Lighthouse or similar services.
  • Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Gitlab CI or Github Action).
  • AWS/Cloud hands-on experience.
  • Kubernetes, Helm.
  • Knowledge of standard Web Servers (Apache, Nginx, Active Directory) ad API Gateway.
  • OSS Integration: Elastic, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus , Filebeat, Jaeger, Kiali or similar.
