What you’ll do

• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, design robust, scalable and secure IT infrastructure solutions in line with Vodafone best practices.
• Create detailed design documents including topology maps, architecture diagrams, implementation plans and blueprints for Vodafone cloud environments.
• Lead presentations and discussions simplifying complex ideas while developing clear documentation and implementing best practices for Vodafone cloud solutions.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve architectural strategies and solutions, researching how new technologies can be integrated into existing Vodafone infrastructures.
• Leading and ensuring compliance with security policies and operational guidelines for managed cloud environments
• Analyze cloud infrastructure performance, identifying trends in capacity utilization and potential bottlenecks to increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct infrastructure analysis to identify gaps and ensure best practice controls are in place, controlling and revising processes and procedures to guarantee the healthy operation of the infrastructure.
• Lead the design of complex projects, ensuring that all aspects of the infrastructure are strategically aligned with business objectives and technology developments
• Develop and manage the long-term technical design, architecture and implementation of Vodafone Services and roadmap

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, 2+ years of experience and in-depth understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud technologies: In IT architecture and solutions, middleware tools, synchronisation and archiving procedures, Data Management and Monitoring. Fully experienced in cloud architectures, hypervisors, servers, storage and networking (ESX, vCloud Director, AriaOps, Virtual Cloud Foundation (VCF) and NSX).
• Experience in managing large and complex cloud.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Strong presentation skills, capable of engaging clients and delivering impactful technical discussions.
• Ability to provide appropriate solutions by thoroughly analyzing technically complex issues and proactively manage customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions, has worked closely with data replication and migration products (Veeam, Zerto, Netbackup), and has experience in architectural design on large-scale projects.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and processes to stay competitive in the rapidly evolving cloud computing world.
