About this Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team in Budapest. This role focuses on managing customer demand projects, analysing data sources, and designing reporting solutions. You will act as a single point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs while collaborating with project managers, IT developers, and stakeholders in an agile environment.
What you will do
- Capture and manage demand requests for new reporting solutions.
- Analyse and propose data sources and models for Group Data & Analytics reporting.
- Perform system analysis on software programs, applications, and web services.
- Continuously improve the performance and usability of web-based applications.
- Drive project lifecycle pillars, track progress, and mitigate risks.
- Build, test, and present new reporting packs and dashboards.
- Support project team activities and ensure reporting processes are effective and well-accepted.
Who you are
- 3–5 years’ experience in business modelling, reporting, analysis, or business partnering.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based solutions (GCP, AWS) and data aggregation tools (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS).
- Understanding of ETL tools and data mapping applications.
- Experience with project management tools (MS Projects, JIRA, Confluence) and Agile environments.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with stakeholder influence ability.
- Fluent in English, detail-oriented, and proactive with strategic thinking.
- Advantageous: SQL/PL SQL/Python, VBA, telecom experience, PMI/Prince2 or Agile certifications.
