About this Role
We are seeking a Business Analyst to act as a critical link between business and technical teams, ensuring accurate requirement gathering and seamless translation into technical specifications. This role involves working within the Software Engineering - BIBDA department, leveraging telecom domain knowledge and expertise in BI technologies and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. The individual will contribute to process adoption, resource optimisation, and tools implementation to enhance efficiency and quality.
What you’ll do
- Gather functional requirements from business stakeholders and document them accurately.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and guide technical teams.
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Drive process adoption, resource optimisation, and tool implementation to improve efficiency and quality.
- Perform data analysis and functional analysis to validate requirements and ensure accuracy.
Who you are
- Strong telecom domain knowledge to understand business requirements effectively.
- Proven ability to collect and document functional requirements and translate them for technical teams.
- Hands-on experience with BI stack and GCP services such as BigQuery.
- Proficient in SQL / PL-SQL with a solid technical background.
- Experienced in working within Agile environments and collaborating across multiple teams.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst (10+ years total experience preferred).
- Educational qualifications: B.E. / B.Tech, BCA / MCA, BSc / MSc (Computer Science).
