Role Purpose/Business Unit:

The purpose of this role is to lead the design, execution and continuous evolution of the VSA employee listening strategy, ensuring that employee voice becomes a strategic lever for culture transformation, leadership effectiveness, and business performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with Exco and HR Leadership to define clear cultural transformation shifts and targets for the organisation.
  • Partner with SLT on culture shifts aligned to TechCo ambitions.
  • Drive embedding of Spirit behaviours, Culture Codes and support Leader Labs.
  • Act as a spirit champion for VSA. Lead the Annual Spirit Beat campaign, quarterly Spirit Pulses, driving and expanding our lifecycle listening.
  • Drawing clear talent insights and working with HRBPs to ensure targeted actions plans
  • Work with HR Leadership to define and embed HR Leadership Brand.
  • Support inclusive culture and embed DEI&B moments into employee lifecycle
  • Ensure rapid insight turnaround and integrate advanced analytics for personalised insights.
  • Work with HRBPs to ensure all people leaders have clear action plans that drive employee engagement and hold Exco accountable.
  • Act as link to bridge the communication gap between Leadership and employees - ensuring that feedback loop is both ways.
  • Serve as Super-user for all systems to deliver spirit related surveys-including ensure consistent data and reporting
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to drive adoption and embedding of the “employee-as a customer”
  • Drive Adhoc Change/Leadership related projects
  • Facilitate ad-hoc team building engagements/change management sessions

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Must have a 3 year diploma/ degree in HR/ Communications/ Employer brand or related field
  • 5-8 years experience in a related field (culture, engagement, organisational development)
  • Project management experience is essential
  • Must have budget management experience

  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Expertise in employee listening, organisational culture, leadership development and behavioural change
  • Strong data storytelling and insight synthesis capability
  • High influencing capability with senior leaders
  • Advanced facilitation and sensemaking skills
  • Advanced in communication/facilitation skills
  • Advance project planning and execution
  • Skilled at working with numerical data, spotting patterns and trends and using this to inform action taking
  • Strong experience in shaping employee engagement programmes to meet business needs, and successfully executing them
  • Comfortable with innovation, experimentation and applying learnings to programme development and implementation
  • Knowledge of the full employee lifecycle, and behavioural development through people processes to support employee engagement
  • Effective written communication and presentation skills
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to activate spirit. Proven ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
