What you’ll do

You will play a pivotal role in shaping, protecting, and promoting the organization’s reputation with external and internal stakeholders. You will drive a unified, purpose-led corporate affairs strategy that integrates media relations, public affairs, corporate communications, ESG & sustainability, and stakeholder engagement to ensure a strong corporate voice across audiences.

More specifically, you will:

  • Develop and lead an integrated Corporate Affairs strategy that strengthens Vodafone Greece’s reputation, drives impact, and supports business objectives across media relations, public affairs, ESG & sustainability, and corporate communications.
  • Establish narratives, ensuring consistency of messaging across all external and internal communications.
  • Run the Vodafone media office. Develop proactive storylines and messaging, draft and review press releases, speeches, opinion articles, Q&As and media statements; manage media inquiries; act as spokesperson where required. Build, strengthen and maintain strong networks with journalists, editors, commentators, and influencers.
  • Lead public affairs strategy, identify and engage with all key stakeholders.
  • Drive impactful communications strategies that are insight-led, measurable, and clearly support Vodafone’s purpose and strategic priorities.
  • Support brand and reputation initiatives, ensuring alignment between corporate communications, brand strategy, and marketing activity.
  • Support internal communication initiatives, culture and engagement initiatives.
  • Design and lead the ESG & Sustainability agenda, including strategy, initiatives, reporting roadmap and external positioning.
  • Oversee the Vodafone Foundation communications and programs, articulating social impact and strengthening Vodafone’s corporate purpose and contribution to society.
  • Lead issues and crisis communication. Coordinate with senior management and cross-functional teams to manage crises effectively.

Who you are

  • Strong personal impact and ability to influence senior leaders and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships
  • High level of integrity and professionalism; adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong academic background at postgraduate level in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Political Science, or related fields
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate affairs, public affairs, or public relations
  • Proven track record in media relations, stakeholder engagement, and internal/external communications
  • Experience in developing and implementing CSR/ESG strategies and social impact programs
