Role Profile

  • Provide support for designing and implementation Fintech infrastructure and enterprise systems, with a focus on those critical to financial operations and services.
  • Participate in the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers Linux, networks, and core IT services.
  • Contribute to the modernization of IT systems by exploring and assisting with the integration of cloud-based solutions, keeping in mind security and compliance requirements of the FinTech sector.
  • Actively learn and assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud resources on platforms, ensuring solutions meet FinTech industry standards for security and data protection.
  • Gain hands-on experience with OpenStack, supporting its environment and learning its architecture and operational aspects.
  • Develop skills in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration with Kubernetes (K8s), including assisting with deployments, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting under guidance.
  • Support the security and monitoring of cloud infrastructure, implementing best practices for protecting sensitive financial data.
  • Learn and apply DevOps principles to streamline development and operational workflows for financial applications and services.
  • Assist in building and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc., with an emphasis on secure and compliant deployment processes.
  • Utilize version control systems effectively for code and configuration management.
  • Develop an understanding of cloud architecture best practices, design patterns, and distributed systems concepts, particularly as they apply to scalable and resilient FinTech solutions.
  • Assist senior engineers in documenting system designs and technical specifications using Confluence.
  • Proactively engage in self-study and company-provided training to deepen knowledge of cloud platforms, DevOps tools, Kubernetes, OpenStack, and related technologies relevant to the FinTech landscape.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends in the cloud, DevOps, and FinTech space.

Core Competencies & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering
  • Experience: 1-2 years of professional experience in an IT role.
  • Solid understanding of operating systems (Linux preferred), networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP), and virtualization concepts.
  • Basic experience or exposure to cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a genuine passion for technology and a desire to learn complex systems.
  • Familiarity with or a strong demonstrated interest in learning Kubernetes and OpenStack is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of basic DevOps concepts and an eagerness to learn relevant tools.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A demonstrated interest in the FinTech industry, financial markets, or related technologies is a strong plus. Experience in a regulated environment is beneficial.
