Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join our growing cloud services department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and building scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions for clients. This role involves pitching cloud solutions—whether our own infrastructure or partner services like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud (GCP)—to prospective clients and guiding them through the architecture design process.

Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership

• Design and development of comprehensive cloud architecture solutions tailored to customer needs
• Work with clients to assess their current infrastructure, identify requirements, and propose cloud-based solutions
• Build hybrid or multi-cloud architectures integrating AWS, Azure, GCP, and our own infrastructure
• Engage in customer workshops, discussions, and consultations to gather technical and business requirements, and pitch cloud solutions accordingly
• Act as a trusted cloud advisor, helping clients understand cloud options and navigate the complexities of cloud migration, while recommending best cloud architecture, and optimization

Qualifications

Core competencies, Knowledge & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, containers, and serverless architecture.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and trends, advising on continuous improvements and innovations
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Language requirements:

• English (B2 or above)
• Any other non-native language an advantage

Technical/Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with at least 2 of (AWS, Azure, VMware, GCP, and Openstack); multi-cloud experience is highly desirable.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role, with a strong track record in designing cloud solutions.
• Experience in technical consulting with a focus on cloud solutions. Highly independent, takes ownership and seeks feedback and execute actions.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Jenkins.
