Business Resilience Manager (m,f,d)

Location: Düsseldorf

The incumbent is a critical member of VOIS Corporate Security function reporting to the VOIS Global BCM Lead, accountable for ensuring in creating and driving the following key agenda primarily for VOIS Western Europe centre (Germany, UK, Ireland and Spain)
- Implement and Lead the annual Business Continuity Management (BCM) program as per the policy including Crisis Management
- Ensure the Business Continuity Framework aligns with industry Good Practice Guidelines.
- Ensure that Business Continuity program components (Business Impact Analysis, Risk Assessments, Plans, Strategies, testing etc.) are effective and up to date
- Develop annual activity calendar and maintain the enterprise-wide business continuity Program
- Ensure that the program is aligned as per the Group framework & work closely with Group BCM Team
- Responsible for publishing all reporting requirements Group KPI's, RCC etc.
- Ensure the availability on call 24/7 during any disruptions/crisis
- Handling end to end cycle of Crisis Management, Emergency Communications with Employees, Management, Business Units, and Partners through Employee Notification System
- Conduct crisis management simulation exercises and user testing of plans, ensuring actions are tracked to completion.
- Owns and supports projects and business initiatives
- Support Annual Certification Audits and Internal audits

What you will do

  • Support the BCM Program & Initiatives for VOIS Western Europe including Crisis Management
  • Support stakeholder Management across VOIS Western Europe and Group entities
  • Develop annual activity calendar and maintain the enterprise-wide business continuity Program
  • Ensure that the program is aligned as per the Group framework & work closely with Group BCM Team
  • Ensure that Business Continuity program components (Business Impact Analysis, Risk Assessments, Plans, Strategies, testing etc.) are effective and up to date
  • Handling end to end cycle of Crisis Management, Emergency Communications with Employees, Management, Business Units, and Partners through Employee Notification System


What sets you apart


  • • Core expertise in Business Continuity and Crisis Management in a large scale organization
    • Good understanding of Risk Management principles and frameworks.
    • Ability to work cross different service lines / geographies /Stakeholders
    • Knowledge of BCM Good Practice Guidelines
    • Understanding the drivers of changing internal and external factors to the Business Continuity Framework
    • Undergraduate degree
    • Professional Certification desired - CBCP, MBCI,DRI etc.
    • ISO 22301 Lead Auditor / Implementer Certification will be an advantage
    • Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to influence leadership team internally and clients externally
    • Must have flexibility and willingness to support on call, considering the nature of the role
    • Minimum 5 – 7 years of experience in Business Continuity / Resilience roles
    • Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills

This position can be full-time or part-time (at least 30 hours).
