About this role

We are seeking a Business Insights and Trading Specialist to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across Vodafone Business. This role involves analysing commercial pipeline trends, supporting senior leadership in sales strategy, and fostering collaboration between local markets and Group teams. You will also lead initiatives to enhance analytics capabilities using advanced digital tools.

What you’ll do

  • Determine and agree annual targets for key metrics, influencing market teams to adopt them.
  • Drive sales trading for Vodafone Business Group Products & Services and partner with market trading teams.
  • Support business planning activities including forecasting, performance reviews, segmentation, and strategic narratives.
  • Facilitate collaboration programmes to align goals between Group and markets.
  • Create data-led insights for proactive business assessment and sales intervention using Power BI and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Produce accurate, high-quality analysis and present findings clearly to enable data-driven decisions.
  • Act as a single point of contact for senior representatives from local markets into Vodafone Group communication channels.

Who you are

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Expertise in Business Insights, commercial and finance, with knowledge of Big Data concepts.
  • Proficient in Power BI (DAX), Excel, SQL, and Python; experience with Salesforce.com and Qliksense.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a quantitative field.
  • Fluent in English; German or Italian preferred.
  • Resilient, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
