Position: Business Analyst

Reports to: Manager Solutions Delivery

Department: Billing and Information Technology

Job Purpose:

To review the annual proposed business requirements and to manage them ensuring successful project initiation and completion through the use of Agile methodologies in Business Analysis. Efficiency will also be improved by liaison with business as well as other Vodacom OPCo’s to establish best solutions and leverage on any existing solutions. Also, to also engage in proactive business requirements gathering and business process improvement aimed at continuous delivery improvement across Vodacom Lesotho.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintains business requirements repository
  • Prototype assessment & usability review for solutions.
  • High level understanding of network/solution architectures in order to advise business teams on the feasibility of their requirements.
  • For any given solution, understands which systems are involved as well as the interaction between each element.
  • Identifies and lead Business Process improvement
  • Requirement management and traceability

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science (or related IT/Engineering) degree
  • 2+ years of Technical Application administration experience/product ownership
  • Business writing and requirements engineering
  • Experience in managing the development life-cycle for agile software development projects
  • Knowledge of integrations, business process management and automation

Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities
  • Understanding Project Management principles
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Design thinking
