What you’ll do

As a Lead AI Engineer specializing in Generative AI & Agentic AI, you will spearhead the design, development, and productionization of AI systems that deliver measurable business value at scale. You will architect multimodal LLM solutions, agentic systems (single- and multi-agent), and robust RAG pipelines, partnering closely with product, data, platform engineering, security, and business stakeholders. You will mentor a growing team of AI engineers and act as a business translator, ensuring clarity between technical strategy and business outcomes; especially in regulated, high availability environments.

Job Responsibilities

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Lead the design and implementation of Generative & Agentic AI models (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models) tailored to business needs
  • Architect scalable and secure AI pipelines leveraging cloud/on-prem infrastructure
  • Guide the development and integrations with LLMs, prompt engineering, or RAG
  • Evaluate and integrate open-source and proprietary GenAI & AgenticAI tools
  • Collaborate with product and domain teams to identify and prioritize impactful GenAI & AgenticAI use cases
  • Leverage A2A (Agent‑to‑Agent) protocols to enable inter-agent collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and coordination across services and teams
  • Adopt MCP Servers (Model Context Protocol) to expose standardized tools/capabilities to different models and agents for interoperability and portability
  • Build and maintain a Tool/Skills Registry (standardized interfaces, capability metadata, access controls), with safe execution sandboxes and rate/circuit controls
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding
  • Ensure AI solutions comply with responsible AI, privacy, and security standards
  • Mentor and coach AI team members, supporting their technical growth
  • Monitor emerging trends in GenAI and proactively suggest innovative applications
  • Support testing activities (functional and non-functional tests in all relevant project phases)
  • Investigate and fix defects and incidents during development and application lifecycle
  • Prepare release packages for test and production environment
  • Manage incidents as level two and level three support
  • Manage problems as level two and level three support

Who you are

  • Good communication, presentation and analytical skills

  • Good organizational skills with ability to manage time and prioritize workload
  • Has a track record of contributing to solve the complex problems and support the technical side of delivery
  • Has a track record of taking the initiative to deliver a project, address an engineering challenge.
  • Recommends and support implementation of process, product, or service improvements


Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Proficient in English both spoken and written
  • Experience deploying AI solutions in production environments
  • Hands‑on with OpenAI (GPT family), Anthropic (Claude), Azure OpenAI; experience abstracting across providers
  • Knowledge of A2A (Agent‑to‑Agent) patterns and implementing multi‑agent topologies with planners/critics/executors
  • Experience exposing/consuming MCP Servers for tool standardization and cross‑model interoperability
  • Security & compliance: OAuth2/OIDC, secret management, network isolation, PII controls, Responsible AI guardrails (prompt injection, jailbreaks, data leakage)
  • Experience in building REST APIs & Cloud Native Microservices
  • Experience in Java, Spring Boot
  • Understanding of Docker & Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of CI/CD supporting tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Network Communication/Integration protocols (SOAP, REST JSON)
