Join Us

At Vodafone, we’re not just shaping the future of connectivity for our customers – we’re shaping the future for everyone who joins our team. When you work with us, you’re part of a global mission to connect people, solve complex challenges, and create a sustainable and more inclusive world. If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact.

What you’ll do

The AI Enablement & Academy Specialist is responsible for designing, building, and activating high-impact learning experiences that equip Vodafone employees with the skills and confidence to leverage AI in their day-to-day role. Bridging the gap between AI strategy and practical workforce adoption, this role combines subject-matter expertise in AI with instructional design, change management, and stakeholder engagement to deliver measurable business impact across global markets.

Working with the AI Enablement & academy lead they will ensure that AI is built into our capability plans across all areas. This role collaborates closely with the Skill Leads and Learning and Performance Business partners to understand requirements and ensure that every programme is relevant, scalable, and grounded in real business requirements.

Academy Strategy & Design

  • Collaborate with SMEs, business stakeholders, and Learning & Performance Business Partners to shape the AI learning strategy, ensuring market requirements are captured.
  • Design accessible, learner-centric AI learning journeys using diverse methodologies — including digital, blended, cohort-based, and on-the-job approaches to drive adoption of Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools across functions and markets.
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of strategic role-based AI capability pathways and AI upskilling programmes.
  • Track AI adoption, capability growth and productivity impact metrics in line with the VLO business impact frame work.

Content Development & Curation

  • Create, develop, and curate high-quality digital learning content — including e-learning modules, prompt libraries, playbooks, guides, and skills assessments.
  • Leverage both internal SME knowledge and external content partnerships.
  • Translate complex AI concepts into accessible, engaging learning experiences for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure effective localisation and customisation of content for relevant markets.

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and quality standards, ensuring delivery against agreed SLAs
  • Establish relationships with strategic external partners, institutions, and technology providers (e.g., Microsoft, Google, Skillsoft, etc.)

Who you are

  • Applied knowledge of the full learning design and development cycle. With Instructional design expertise across digital, blended, and live formats.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Data-driven mindset: able to define success metrics and report on impact
  • Proven project management and organisational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT Enterprise platforms
  • Original thinker who will stand out in providing technical guidance and expertise in this skill domain
  • Growth mindset: curious about new technology and its impact on the work force.
  • Experience working at an international level
