About this Role

We are seeking an AI Cloud Platform Engineer to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native AI capabilities that strengthen VOIS’ commitment to customer excellence, simplified operations, and sustainable growth. The individual will create secure, scalable, and high‑performing cloud foundations, integrate AI and ML capabilities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation. This role is ideal for an experienced cloud engineer with strong Azure skills, hands-on automation expertise, and an enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies.

What you’ll do

• Design, bootstrap, and maintain enterprise-grade Azure Landing Zones, including Hub–Spoke topology, governance controls, and security guardrails.
• Build secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and support cloud workloads on Google Cloud Platform when required.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules to automate infrastructure provisioning at scale.
• Operate and optimise AKS and GKE clusters, including container orchestration, networking, workload deployment, and platform reliability.
• Create and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, integrating automation and security best practices.
• Implement security standards across cloud environments, including IAM, RBAC, encryption management, network segmentation, and secrets management.
• Develop automation scripts, monitoring frameworks, and tooling for improved operational reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with platform, data, and AI/ML teams to support cloud-native workloads and enable seamless deployments.

Who you are

• Experienced in Microsoft Azure with in-depth understanding of Landing Zones, Hub–Spoke architectures, and enterprise cloud governance.
• Proficient in Terraform with proven experience creating reusable modules.
• Skilled in Kubernetes, including AKS/GKE operations, containerisation, networking, and service mesh concepts.
• Competent in Python and shell scripting for automation and operational tooling.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, including routing, DNS, load balancers, hybrid connectivity, and firewall management.
• Knowledgeable in cloud security concepts, IAM, RBAC, encryption services, and secret management tools.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or MLOps workflows (nice to have).
• A proactive learner with strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
