About this Role

We are seeking a highly capable and independent Agile Delivery Lead to support the agile transformation and successful delivery of medium to large-scale projects. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in agile methodologies, coaching, and stakeholder engagement, who are passionate about people development and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring customer-centric delivery while mentoring cross-functional teams and driving agile excellence across the organisation.

What you will do

  • Take end-to-end ownership of agile values, principles, and practices for assigned projects.
  • Act as Scrum Master, facilitating agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Coach and mentor team members, including other Scrum Masters, Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders on agile methodologies.
  • Ensure consistent application of agile best practices across workstreams.
  • Oversee the correct setup and usage of agile tools (e.g., Jira) and maintain up-to-date project documentation.
  • Manage stakeholder and vendor relationships to support technical delivery.
  • Proactively raise risks and seek management support when needed.
  • Report on project progress, metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-down), risks, and timelines.

Who you are

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a dedicated Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager role.
  • Proven experience in large-scale agile environments and multiple agile teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks, tools (especially Jira), and agile metrics.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle and DevOps practices.
  • Skilled in facilitation, conflict resolution, mentoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Technically proficient with the ability to understand architecture and technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Calm and composed under pressure, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and eager to share expertise across teams.
