Job Description

As our Telephony Wizard, you'll embark on a mission-critical journey to provide seamless telephony services on Virgin Media O2 switches, managing number routing and features for customers! Serving as the "Tech Gatekeeper," you'll pave a pristine path into BTMSL, maintaining quality and efficiency.

Your arsenal of tools and systems will support customers and colleagues alike. The realm of TDM and Hosted Voice products will be at your command as you champion our Field Engineers in successful installs, all the while ensuring the safety of our customers and alignment to industry guidelines.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Strong customer service skills, demonstrated through previous experience.
  • Experience handling critical issues effectively.
  • Proven track record to raise issues and opportunities to the team leader when necessary.
  • Capacity to take ownership of queries and see them through to a timely resolution.
  • Effective collaboration with colleagues to ensure best practices and ongoing improvement in service delivery.
  • Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships and networks at an operational level.
  • Capability to prioritise workloads efficiently.
  • Attention to detail, particularly in high-pressure environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform well under pressure.

The other stuff we are looking for

We'd also love you to bring;

  • Familiarity with voice provisioning, testing, and fixing processes.
  • Understanding of voice products and services.
  • Exposure to various systems including NIM, Force (Clarify), ICOMS, or TDM switches would be advantageous.
  • Tech-savvy individual with a knack for grasping systems easily, as training will be provided.
