Job Description

Virgin Media O2 has announced to the market the creation of a Netco that intends to build significant value. The strategic rationale for NetCo will underpin the Fibre strategy to secure new financing options enabling faster fibre rollout, future wholesale opportunities and potential Alternative Network acquisition plans.

Having a Value Realisation Office in place is important to ensure the NetCo value is fully unlocked & optimised and that delivery budgets are met & understood.

You will be the owner of the Separation programme business case model, and there will be an emphasis on adding substantive, tangible value to the group’s activities in a practical and analytically rigorous way. Outputs will typically be for presentations to the SMO Workstream leads, Directors and Executive members.

These outputs will be supported by ad-hoc modelling, forecasting models and planning documents to ensure any outputs articulate a cohesive plan and are underpinned with a strong attention to detail. Financial literacy and experience in modelling is therefore a crucial for the role holder.
