12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Virgin Media O2 has announced to the market the creation of a NetCo that intends to build significant value. The strategic rationale for NetCo will underpin the Fibre strategy to secure new financing options enabling faster fibre rollout, future wholesale opportunities and potential Alternative Network acquisition plans.

The Programme Management Office is essential to delivering a successful NetCo, and in ensuring the Separation is delivered in a way that underpins the future success of both NetCo and ServCo. The PMO is integral to crafting and delivering the Separation in a co-ordinated and structured way, whilst accelerating and de-risking all steps through providing the strategic direction for delivery and mapping critical interdependencies in the central Separation delivery roadmap.

The role holder will handle the Separation programme governance and delivery execution of cross-functional activities across the workstreams. This role is responsible for the E2E delivery leadership of one or more large complex workstreams in accordance with agreed roadmap, governance, reporting and operational KPIs.

The position supports the Director of Separation Transaction Management to drive consistency in the ways of by producing documents including reporting, governance, RAID management, change and dependency management approaches.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Delivery Management skills and comprehensive and strong skills in project and programme management.
  • Ability to ensure that appropriate targets dates are set for speed and quality of delivery
  • Able to provide programme expertise to key activities and deliverable e.g. cost and benefit estimates, programme plans, identification and mitigation of delivery risk
  • Able to operate and align with required governance processes, including impact on time, budget and quality.
