Job Description
This is a senior leadership role within the Central Strategy Team of Virgin Media O2 responsible for supporting the commercial and operational strategy of the end-to-end business, meeting shareholders ambitions for growth and financial returns. The role holder will work closely with different areas of the business and both shareholders to develop and maintain a market winning strategy for VMO2! This role will have direct reports. Who we are

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Strategy leadership experience in areas relevant to tier 1 global TMT business, evidencing strong value creation
- Leading analytical and critical thinking capabilities, with deep expertise in decision frameworks and quantitative models
- Effective & credible communicator, with influence at all levels including EC members, shareholders and external influencers
- Innovator, able to think laterally, and identify creative opportunities for value creation
- Excellent team-working and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships and forming effective project teams across the business and external parties
The other stuff we are looking for
We'd also love you to bring;
- Strong commercial acumen, backed up by proven negotiating skills
- High impact self-starting individual, resourceful and solution-driven, able to manage and successfully deliver multiple projects in parallel
- Corporate Strategy experience in adjacent markets, digital, finance, retail.
- Strong understanding of the UK and relevant foreign TMT markets evolution, and expected strategies of major market players and their owners
- Team management experience
- Flexibility to work from the Hammersmith office
