Job Description

This pivotal senior leadership position entails formulating the strategic trajectory of the VMO2 mobile network infrastructure. It requires fostering network quality, reliability, and elevating customer satisfaction. The role necessitates a comprehensive blend of leadership prowess and technical expertise. Collaborating closely with the executive team, it bears shared responsibility for motivating and enabling teams across the organisation to establish high-reaching objectives and achieving exceptional performance to drive customer value.

As part of this you will;

Collaborate with stakeholders from Business, Consumer, Strategy, and Network to develop 1-3 year network demand and deployment plans, ensuring optimal return on investment in mobile scenarios.

Ensure coherence, feasibility, and adaptability of plans amidst changes in strategy, investment, and customer experience.

Coordinate and report on delivery execution, tracking efficiency KPIs and output commercial, technical, and customer experience KPIs to SLT, EC, and Shareholder Board Stakeholders.

Drive performance optimisation of radio networks to enhance customer experience across 30m mobile customers and 15m other connected devices.

Lead senior-level partnerships with key entities such as Vodafone, Cornerstone, and regulatory bodies when necessary.

Cultivate positive relationships crucial for operational efficiency across various teams including Fixed and Mobile Consumer commercial, Digital, B2B, and Finance.

Demonstrate proactive and positive leadership within VMO2's dynamic environment, focusing on enhancing team capability, engagement, and stakeholder relations.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the telecommunications industry, with a focus on mobile network technologies.
  • Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of 5G and other emerging mobile technologies.
  • Evident strategic thinking skills and the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams and driving a culture of innovation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Financial acumen and experience in budgetary planning and management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in the telecommunications sector.
