Job Description
As the Consumer Underwriter you will be responsible for underwriting credit applications in adherence to VMO2’s Lending Policy and Standards. Your particular focus will be in underwriting applications for Fixed Line, Cable, and Mobile products. The role will also include Credit related account management responsibilities focussing on Credit Bureau amends and disputes.
Your role will be to effectively work Underwriting queues, maintain SLA’s and support initiatives in the Credit Policy team to drive growth and manage risk effectively.

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Previous experience of working with Customer Relationship management systems, Icoms is preferred.
- Understanding of Consumer Credit Policy, TCF and regulatory landscape in respect to Consumer Credit
- Strong attention to detail and being able to identify risk, but to the consumer and business when underwriting applications in relation to Telecomms and Media applications
- Experience of presenting and exploring innovative/new ways of working
The other stuff we are looking for
We'd also love you to bring;
- Experience of working within an administrative environment, and complying with legal requirements and company policies whilst delivering good internal & external customer service
- Exposure to working in a multi-contact site, demonstrating an understanding of astute stakeholder relationship management.
- Previous experience in underwriting, credit file interpretation, customer identification verification and Fraud identification
