Job Description

Play a key role in the Paid Traffic Team – Delivering Return on Investment & Innovation at Speed.

We are looking for an Affiliate Executive with strong Affiliate background who will be supporting the Affiliate Manager in the day to day running of the Affiliate programme. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Virgin Media O2 digital team and be part of a large in-house team of Paid Traffic experts while supporting management of one of the largest Paid channels at VMO2.

You will be responsible for leading the delivery and optimisation of Virgin Media O2’s affiliate campaigns through the AWIN Platform and will work with some of the most recognised affiliates in the industry. The postholder will be working closely with our Affiliate Manager & the rest of the Affiliate team to ensure you are driving Digital Strategy & Best practice across the Affiliate channel.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Experience of working on Affiliates, with authoritative knowledge of the AWIN platform or similar.
  • Hands on experience in running affiliate campaigns and handling affiliate relationships (including initiating/implementing new insights to grow affiliate activity)
  • Maintain positive relationships with publishers by supporting our AWIN team with collaboratively identifying new opportunities and optimisations to improve orders growth.
  • Coordinate affiliate campaigns; ensure affiliates have the assets and information required to efficiently promote Virgin Media O2.
  • Responsible for activation of affiliate activity across both Virgin Media & O2 brands.
  • Maintain full ownership of the sales validation process, ensuring affiliate orders are being approved/declined in a timely manner and handling any customer queries.

  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and presentation and ability to simplify the technical into the language of the audience.
  • Experience working in a high-pressure, fast paced environment, being able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Highly organised and strong attention to detail while being comfortable working in environments that can sometimes be ambiguous.
  • Driven by delivering the best possible results.
  • A can-do mentality, pragmatic and results orientated with the ability to work effectively with other functional areas.
  • Telco experience preferred but not essential.
