Job Description

We are the Quality & Control team, and we are responsible for delivering and maintaining the best-in-class Solutions utilising Atlassian platforms that enable our employees to collaborate, communicate, and innovate. We work with Jira, Confluence, Crowd, and other Atlassian products, both in Data Centre and SAAS versions, to provide secure, reliable, and scalable solutions for our internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for an Atlassian Technical Specialist who can join our team and provide hands-on technical support, configuration, and troubleshooting for our Atlassian Data Centre platforms. You will work closely with the Atlassian Solution Architect and other team members to ensure the optimal performance, availability, and security of our platforms. You will also own the technical roadmap and vision, and help us implement new features, upgrades, and patches.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide technical support and root cause analysis for issues related to our Atlassian Data Centre platforms, including Jira, Confluence, Crowd and multiple specialist plugins (Administrator and user level)
  • Configure and maintain our Data Centre platforms, ensuring they adhere to architectural principles and cost guidelines
  • Monitor and report on the health, performance, and usage of our platforms, and proactively identify and resolve potential problems
  • Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders who depend on our products, and understand their needs and expectations
  • Stay current with product releases and vulnerability patches, and apply them in a timely manner
  • Own, develop and manage the technical product backlog and roadmap
  • Line management of contingent Atlassian developer resources
  • Deliver complex configuration changes via contingent developer resources
  • Assist in testing and deploying new features, enhancements, and integrations for our platforms

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Prior experience in a technical support role or in managing complex technical projects involving Atlassian Data Centre products
  • Strong knowledge of Atlassian Data Centre administration, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Strong hold on SCRUM including Standups, Sprint Planning and also Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Ability to work as a matrix manager and coordinate people and resources from multiple areas of the organisation
