Job Description

Working as a Senior Manager Third Party Delivery and Oversight , you will be responsible for leading the strategic management, governance and performance oversight of third-party delivery, with particular focus on Debt Collection Agencies and Debt Sales partners. You will ensure that all third-party activities deliver optimal customer, commercial, and compliance outcomes – balancing recovery performance, customer treatment and risk management.

This position will play a critical role in shaping and executing the strategy within the Fraud, Integrity and Risk Excellence Department, driving value through pricing optimisation, supplier relationship management, and robust oversight of contractual, regulatory and conduct standards.

Who we are

The UK’s fastest broadband network. The nation’s best-loved mobile brand. And, one of the UK's biggest companies too. We put our customers first, making life simpler, smoother, and more joyful. With big ambitions and a brilliant team, we’re building a more connected future for everyone.

Our ways of working

We’re a flexible-first organisation, because we know people do their best work when they have choice and clarity. To support meaningful collaboration, we ask everyone to spend at least eight days each month connecting in person.

That doesn’t just mean time in the office, it could be team meetings, offsites, volunteering days, cross-functional projects, or away days - anywhere meaningful collaboration happens. What matters is making those moments purposeful, so when we come together, it really counts.

Accessible, inclusive and equitable for all

Virgin Media O2 is an equal opportunities employer and we're working hard to remove bias and barriers for our people and candidates. So, we build equity and inclusion into everything we do, from the policies we craft to the relationships we shape. We support and encourage you to be your authentic self throughout your application journey with us.

The must haves

  • Influencing People & Managing Relationships: Excellent influencing and relationship management skills and experience in coordinating complex activity across multiple stakeholders. Collaborative leader who inspires performance.
  • Strategic thinker: ability to balance commercial outcomes with customer and conduct priorities.
  • Solving Problems: Very strong ability to find creative, high impact, high feasibility solutions to problems and making timely, pragmatic data-driven decisions in the face of ambiguous or conflicting situations

The other stuff we are looking for

  • Build and maintain a robust governance framework, including monitoring, assurance reviews, outcome delivery and risk reporting
  • Working with project sponsors and using market insight and internal data, advise on key negotiations
  • Monitor and analyse agency and buyer performance, implementing corrective actions or improvement plans where necessary
  • Use data and market insight to inform valuation, risk appetite and sale strategy decisions
  • Drive continuous improvement in third party management practice, data quality, analysis and reporting.
