Job Description
This is a high-impact finance partnering role at the heart of Virgin Media O₂’s growth agenda. As a Senior Finance Analytics Business Partner, you will help shape how we create value across our Fixed and Mobile businesses by turning big data into commercially meaningful insight. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will influence decisions that drive revenue growth, improve efficiency and support long-range planning across a portfolio worth around £500m.You will lead the end-to-end delivery of data-led value creation and cost-saving initiatives, acting as a bridge between finance, data, commercial and operational teams. This includes evaluating emerging analytics and Gen AI capabilities, translating complex analysis into clear financial insights, and embedding new ways of working that improve performance, customer outcomes and route to market effectiveness. They play a big role in helping people feel connected from day one. The must haves • Proven experience delivering end-to-end analytics solutions with clear commercial impact
• Strong hands-on capability with core analytics tools such as SQL or BigQuery, Python or R, and Tableau or Power BI
• Experience building business cases and translating data insights into financial outcomes
• Ability to work with large, complex data sets to identify trends, risks and opportunities
• Strong stakeholder management skills across finance and non-finance teams The other stuff we are looking for • Experience applying machine learning, predictive modelling or AI techniques in a commercial environment
• Exposure to evaluating or implementing Gen AI tools to improve processes or insight
• Background in customer acquisition, retention or churn analytics
• Experience working in Agile or Waterfall delivery environments using tools such as JIRA or GitHub Projects
