Job Description

As Senior Social Content Creator, you will support the Head of Social, Content and Influencers in delivering the strategy and creative execution for the O2 and Virgin Media social channels.

You’ll help build the profile of both brands by developing and creating authentic, platform first content and campaigns that align to our social media strategy and content pillars.

As Senior Social Content Creator you will ideate, produce, and manage high-impact, platform-native content (video, photo, copy) that aligns with our brand and delivers on our KPIs. You’ll work across a variety of content types from long and short form content formats to one off pieces, managing the creative process from concept to execution. You will be the guardian of our social creative guidelines ensuring cultural relevance and brand/strategic alignment across social platforms. You will also play a key role in mentoring and supporting our junior creators.

To support our social strategy, you will often be out capturing content at music, gaming, sporting and entertainment led events. You will be comfortable working in a sometimes-high pressure environment to deliver real time content for the brand.

Alongside overseeing our substantial in-house activity, you’ll play a key role working with agencies, production companies and creators who produce content on our behalf. Ensuring that we stay true to our social strategy and produce content that delivers.

A social native, you should have your fingers on the pulse of the latest platform trends, developments and algorithm hacks and use your knowledge and creativity to create and deliver content that resonates with our audiences. You will apply learnings and insights to constantly adapt our creative to deliver the best results.
