
Commercial Manager - Wholesale Mobile
Job Description
The Virgin Media Business Commercial team have a brand-new role! It will play a pivotal role in enabling industries' digital transformation by delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile data connectivity to a diverse and growing portfolio of wholesale customers. These customers span sectors such as automotive, utilities, healthcare, logistics, and smart cities, each with unique connectivity needs and commercial models.
As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end commercial and contractual performance of a portfolio of existing and new Wholesale customers, and suppliers. Your role is central to ensuring that VMO2 delivers both commercial value and operational excellence to its customers.

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Strong commercial competence with experience in negotiation, performance, and dispute resolution management.
- Demonstrated experience in a dynamic B2B trading environment, with responsibility for near and long-term budgeting and forecasting, identifying growth opportunities, and mitigating risks.
- Experience producing financial cases and commercial modelling using complex data sets to provide clear, actionable recommendations to partners.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior collaborators.
The other stuff we are looking for
We'd also love you to bring;
- Experience in a commercial environment
- Understanding of telecoms pricing models, roaming agreements, and IoT connectivity economics
- Partner/Supplier-facing commercial experience in public-sector, infrastructure, IT or telecommunication programmes/contracts.
- Familiarity with legal and contractual governance.
