We’re looking for you to bring the latest and greatest features to our customers-—and to help us tell the marketplace about what’s new and why they need to have it. You’ll put your technical and analytical skills to work by studying the latest tech trends to identify what features people want and are going to want down the road. Collaborating with others, you’ll build the roadmap and drive the process from ideation through design and roll-out—and build compelling value messages along the way. Your focus will be on products, features, and services that solve customer challenges and help make people’s lives better.

  • Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our API portfolio.

  • Oversees EDI data and ensures successful transmissions of data to trading partner applications/mailboxes.

  • Perform data mapping, mailbox setup, communications and security setups.

  • Develop and ensure that sufficient audit and control procedures are in place.

  • Incorporate audit and control procedures within trading partner profiles, translation set maps and interface files.

  • Translate business requirements and customer needs into detailed API specifications and user stories.

  • Lead the migration of legacy APIs to a modern technology stack, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in API development and management.

You’ll need to have:

  • A minimum of five years experience in a technology-focused role, with a strong emphasis on API development.

  • Deep understanding and practical experience with RESTful API design principles and best practices.

  • Extensive knowledge of TM Forum Open API standards and their application in real-world scenarios.

  • Proven ability to analyze, refactor, and migrate legacy APIs to modern architectures and technologies.

  • Working knowledge of EDI translation software packages.

  • Solid understanding of EDI standards and expertise in data mapping.

  • General knowledge of communication standards.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience with API management platforms and tools.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry.
