Role Summary

We’re seeking a Data Integration Business Analyst to lead the design and delivery of integration solutions that connect Maersk’s logistics products with customer systems. This role bridges complex business needs with technical capabilities, ensuring seamless integration across multi-product offerings. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, driving automation, scalability, and long-term customer success through expert consultation and hands-on solution design.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact during discovery, scoping, and implementation phases.

  • Build strong relationships by understanding customer business models and integration needs.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to manage integration pipelines and ensure alignment.

Strategic Consulting & Solution Design

  • Provide expert guidance on integration strategies, leveraging insights from product owners and business stakeholders.

  • Recommend scalable and secure integration patterns that reduce complexity and prevent technical debt.

  • Support commercial and solution engineering teams with technical input throughout the sales and implementation lifecycle.

Implementation & Delivery Excellence

  • Drive first-time-right implementations and manage scope changes through structured change control.

  • Reduce time-to-value and implementation costs through efficient requirements engineering.

  • Design and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Enablement & Documentation

  • Develop Go-To-Market materials and educate cross-functional teams on integration capabilities.

  • Maintain high-quality documentation including solution designs, test cases, and runbooks.

Accountabilities

  • Integration solution design and delivery

  • Support for sales tenders and costing

  • Stakeholder management across the implementation lifecycle

What we're looking for:

  • EDI Knowledge: Understand EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT), transaction sets, and trading partner requirements.
  • API Knowledge: Understand RESTful APIs, endpoints, authentication (OAuth, API keys), and payload structures.
  • Working knowledge of the various data formats: XML, JSON, CSV and flat files.
  • Experience in requirements engineering, process and data mapping, and gap analysis
  • Experience in test design, documentation and defect management ·
  • Experience in managing customer implementations from scoping through hypercare exit
  • Able to work effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies, business models and capabilities into customer value adding roadmaps and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in sea, air, or land cargo transportation processes, and/or logistics processes, is a must.
  • Customer integration experience (CSAT and SSAT score)
  • Time to Value (Scoping to Delivery) · First-time-right integration (internal iterations)
  • Change Request Rate (after 3 mos from hypercare exit)
  • Solution and test case documentation quality
