What you’ll be doing...
As an Experience Designer-II you have some professional experience in design or graduate studies in design, and you are applying and learning those skills. You are expected to work within an existing process to help solve well-defined problems with support and guidance from the team as you grow their skillset and gain additional professional experience. You will begin to learn communication, stakeholder management, mentoring, and management skills by example and participate in design dialogue and events.
Participating in identifying appropriate design problems and opportunities within a brief.
Working with oversight to solve well-defined problems.
Generating multiple credible design solutions with guidance.
Participating in divergent and convergent group work.
Building fluency in shared tools and software for design.
Exploring, refining, and documenting the design solutions.
Participating in user insight gathering activities.
Creating design solutions that leverage user insights.
Actively participating and contributing to group dialogue and activities.
Giving and receiving constructive feedback.
Effectively prioritizing work and managing time for given tasks.
Where you'll be working...
This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.
What we’re looking for...
You're an experienced design practitioner who can contribute experience and technical capability in at least one of our core disciplines (i.e., Research and Insights, Product Strategy, Interface Architecture, and Visual Systems). You have the desire and potential to grow beyond your core areas of expertise and are accountable for your growth as an individual practitioner. You produce sound, effective design solutions and collaborate with your team to generate ideas.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
Experience in UX, digital design skills and prototyping
Experience in user centric design overall.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Degree in Design or related field of study.
Graduate academic portfolio demonstrates capabilities and promise
Experience in professional or internship
Contribution to one or more design programs or shipped products
