What you’ll be doing...
SRE NOC (Site Reliability Engineering Network Operations Center) refers to a modern approach to managing system reliability that incorporates SRE principles and technologies into the traditional NOC model.
As a Network Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the next generation of routing and switching gear while maintaining our current world-class infrastructure. You will be a member of a geographically diverse team of Network Operations Engineers. Must have strong communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment, a desire to continuously learn new technologies, and a willingness to work shifts on a 24x7 operations team.
NOC Member - Eng II as you should be capable of performing core-level network troubleshooting efforts and driving issues toward a quick resolution. The Candidate will have a foundational understanding of network technology TCP/IP, network performance analysis, network security, and application troubleshooting techniques.
Working the Network Operations ticket queue and handling inbound calls to the NOC
Responsible for performing technical administration and analysis duties in support of various network and hardware/software operations management activities.
Working with vendors to address hardware and software issues on supported equipment.
Interacting and coordinating with end-user support to implement network solutions.
Participating in internal training and being receptive to technical guidance to enhance proficiencies.
Coaching and training other analysts. Leads other Technical Support/Services team members in selected project activities.

You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
Two or more years of relevant work experience.
Strong analytical and communication skills
Experience with Cisco Routers/Switches, SD-WAN, White box Technology.
Experience in IPSEC, DMVPN & any Wi-Fi technologies.
Understanding of the telecommunications industry and evolving technologies.
Ability to learn new technologies as they emerge on the market.
Experience working in large multi-functional or enterprise-wide project teams.
Proficiency with BGP, OSPF, HSRP, VLANs, STP, and other networking protocols
Knowledge of Layer 1 through 7 troubleshooting and implementation.
Experience with transport circuit troubleshooting.
Experience supporting load balancer technologies
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Master’s degree or three or more years of work experience.
Strong understanding of Cisco platforms including ASR, ISR, Catalyst, Nexus, and UCS families.
Packet capture and analysis experience (Sniffer, Wireshark, etc.).
Aruba Networks certification ACMA or ACMP.
Experience with White box, SD-WAN Technology.
Ability to script in Python, Perl, or a Linux shell.
CCNA, CCNP, CCSA, and SDN/NFV certification.
Cisco CCNA certification in Routing / Switching or Datacenter.
