Job Description

The Servie leader is a qualified and accredited individual responsible for providing safety supervision and technical guidance on Windfarm systems. Supporting both the Operations Manager and Planning, the role involves leading briefings, toolbox talks, and performance meetings, while preparing for upcoming tasks, including spare parts planning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing and scheduling daily work.
  • Ensuring team performance in terms of availability, HSE compliance, and output.
  • Inspecting and prioritizing work orders (with support if needed).
  • Maintaining high WTG availability through collaboration with internal staff and contractors.
  • Overseeing planned maintenance and fault-finding/troubleshooting activities.
  • Operating from the technicians' mobilization point, whether onshore or offshore.
  • Support Planning function with any technical questions and allocate the relevant resources related to the plan and schedules, as well as how work can be bundled to improve efficiency
  • Translate planes into execution and generate daily transfer/pax lists
  • Maintain the local visual scheduling board
  • Ensure that work plans are developed to ensure passenger/material transfers are executed in accordance with safe working practices and take relevant procedures into account
  • Liaise with the scope responsible on projects to ensure that all technicians, contractors and third parties going offshore have the correct certification and competences to carry out the planned work
  • Lead morning brief, de-brief in the evening, toolbox talks, performance meetings etc.
  • Provide cover for the Operations Manager in their absence towards the operation
  • Supervise teams of internal and external Technicians carrying out scheduled maintenance/troubleshooting and ensuring a consistent high level of quality, efficiency and safety Inspect work orders, ensuring hours, explanation and use of spare parts, and technical close the order before they are closed by the O&M Site Coordinator, any abnormalities to inform Operations Manager
  • Prioritize and evaluate notifications from service technicians (support from Associate Technical Expert)
  • Ensure HSE policies are part of the daily work on site

Qualifications

  • Preferable B.Sc. of Engineer
  • Knowledge about scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting on WTG
  • Strong drive and business mind set
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Good Leadership, communication, cooperation and organisational skills
  • Strong skills in SAP (maintenance tool)
  • Relevant work experience
  • IT competent
