Reporting to the Training Operations Manager, the Training Planning Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and efficient planning of pilot and cabin crew training conducted by TUI Airline and the TUI Airline Training Approved Training Organisation (ATO).

The key output of the role is to proactively support and coordinate training completed within TUI Airline , and liaise with the centralised TUI Airline manpower planning team to create efficient training planning of pilots and cabin crew. This role will also manage the day-to-day TUI Airline ATO planning of training courses, MPL schedules and any other TUI Airline Training contracted, or third-party training services.

This role will support the Training Operations Manager by coordinating with the central Manpower Planning team and AOC training delivery teams to facilitate efficient use of group wide trainer resource to deliver the agreed training plan. The Training Planning Coordinator will support the coordination of training requirements across TUI and help develop strategies that enable the efficient delivery of training across TUI Airline.

This role will manage and oversee the scheduling of cadet pilot (MPL), initial pilot training and third party training conducted by the TUI Airline Approved Training Organisation (ATO).

ABOUT THE JOB

• Be responsible for the oversight and delivery of the training plan for TUI Airline ATO pilot & cabin crew training and coordinate to achieve effective and efficient ATO training for the Group AOCs.
• Working closely with the Central & AOC planning teams ensure the TUI Airline ATO training is delivered efficiently and in a timely manner, at least cost.
• Coordinate with the TUI Airline Manpower Planning, group AOCs & training teams to ensure training planning and delivery is aligned with the business objectives.
• Provide day-to-day coordination of TUI Airline ATO training delivery requirements.
• Provide details of training planning for TUI Airline ATO that will enable budgets to be created and maintained.
• Proactively work to reduce cost and improve efficiency of training delivery

ABOUT YOU

• Experience with aircrew training planning
• Have ability to operate with multiple business customers and manage key stakeholders
• A skilled communicator with the proven ability to influence and develop a strong network of contacts throughout TUI planning teams and gain support and commitment from training managers
• Proven ability to use analytical tools to measure, manage and provide data to improve pilot and cabin crew training planning
• Self-motivated with ability to work remotely and take the initiative on priorities
• A logical thinker with the ability to generate ideas and alternatives
• Demonstrable ability to clearly articulate concepts and arguments verbally and in written documentation
• Confident with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Understanding of company systems such as OPSMAN, IDPS, TPMS would be an advantage
• Good spoken and written English.
