Job Description

As a Maintenance Planning Engineer, you will be responsible to plan the maintenance of the TUI Airline Fleet, with focus on the base and heavy maintenance planning of narrow body fleet (Boeing 737NG/MAX, and Embraer E195-E2), in line with the approved maintenance program, the applicable regulations and available maintenance slots and resources.

ABOUT THE JOB

•Preparation and management of the base maintenance work packages for the narrow body TUI Airline fleet (initial bid pack creation, manage changes to the work pack content throughout work pack life cycle, finalise the work pack and deliver to the MRO, manage changes to the work pack during the checks), taking into account the TUI Airline Base Maintenance philosophy, and optimizing the fleet availability;
•Assisting in organisation of the maintenance slots in co-operation with TUI Strategic Planning, the maintenance organisations, and the local flight scheduling depts.;
•Liaising with TUI E&M or outsourced maintenance organisations, supply chain and engineering department as needed;

•Supporting various entry-into-service; phase-in/out; winter lease; other projects across the TUI Airline Engineering & Maintenance departments;

•As part of a 4-person team, rotate in and out at weekends and bank holidays to support the Short Term Planning team in the event of issues with potential operational impact to minimise downtime and schedule disruption and maximise fleet availability

ABOUT YOU

•You have a Bachelor degree in Aeronautics (or equal through experience);
•You have preferably 1-3 years’ experience in a similar position;
•The role requires strong business English, both spoken and written;

•You have good knowledge of standard IT applications (MS Office, …);
•Having experience with a maintenance planning software (e.g. AMOS, TRAX, Manage/M) is an asset;
•You are able to manage priorities, and work to demanding timescales;
•You are able to manage working hours to ensure the needs and demands of the role are fulfilled;
•You are professional, proactive and accurate;
•You are independent, flexible and have a solution-oriented approach to work;
•You work in an international environment, with multi-cultural teams, the role may involve international travel;
•Aviation is in your DNA;
