Job Description

Joining the Trade Relations team as a Trade Relations Manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive engagement, growth, and product knowledge with 3rd party agents by being visible in agencies and meeting agents as the face of TUI. You will be responsible for forging strategic partnerships, exploring potential markets, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.

The role will play a significant part in the delivery of the multi-channel Retail Strategy increasing awareness of the unique selling points the brand has to offer which makes us stand out from our competitors.
As the successful Trade Relations Manager, you will be responsible for the growth in your desired region. You will identify, qualify and execute opportunities and sales plans that will accelerate growth in TUI Holidays

This exciting opportunity requires someone with the flexibility to travel within their assigned region of Scotland approximately three days per week and attend key meetings at the TUI head office in Luton as and when required.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Be an active “voice of the agent” with all facets and areas of the business, escalating key service issues and feedback as appropriate
  • Be a key representative of TUI as a front line to the agent, organising and planning for regular agent interaction to maximise both agent and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective strategies for achieving sales targets and expanding market share
  • Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts
  • Proactively seek out and pursue new growth opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations inline with tour operator priorities
  • Track and report on business development activities and performance metrics
  • Ensure ROI (Return on Investment) is tracked and logged for all sales activity
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, developments, and competitor movements
  • Extensive travel is part of the role and you’ll spend a minimum of 3 days a week travelling in your region
  • Represent TUI at regional and industry events
  • Overseas travel will also be required

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in trade relations or sales within the travel industry
  • Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving sales targets
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of industry trends
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal & presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Proactive and able to work independently
