Job Description

You’ll be joining our well-regarded UK&I HR Operations team as a Senior HR Advisor supporting our fast-paced Airline business with their Cabin Crew matters.

This role works with our Airline HR Business Partners, providing ER advice and HR support to help shape and implement the Cabin Crew People Plan, as well as supporting Base Managers with complex ER issues.

This role provides coaching to line managers to help them manage their teams and create an environment where our colleagues feel TUI is the best-loved holiday company to work for, with inclusivity at its core. In addition to complex Employee Relations case work you will also be involved in a mixture of HR projects, leading work streams and playing a key role in their success.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • In this role you have accountability for ER within the Airline (Cabin Crew) area. You’ll give credible advice, weighing up the HR strategy, commercial needs, reputation risk, financial risk and TUI values, while building relationships with managers and HR colleagues.

  • You’ll keep up to date with current and forthcoming employment legislation and have awareness topical HR matters; and have responsibility to help interpret and communicate it to the business.

  • You’ll thrive in a busy environment with a high volume of cases, while balancing key project activities such as policy development, business change and process simplification.

  • This is a collaborative role where you will work across the wider HR Function, and alongside other Senior HR Advisors to knowledge-share, ensure consistency, advise, challenge, identify gaps and innovate so managers have the right tools to do their roles, and we develop and grow as a team and individuals

ABOUT YOU

  • You’re obsessed with good HR and ER practises, and are comfortable in influencing others by building great relationships
  • You’ll have previous HR/ER experience in a multi-tasked and fast-paced environment (previous Trade Union or Airline experience is desirable)
  • You’ll act with confidence and communicate well, both verbally and in writing
  • You’ve got a broad, up-to-date to date knowledge of employment legislation and can apply this logically to the real world
  • You’ll have good attention for details
  • You’ve got experience of leading projects, and can prioritise and plan your time effectively
  • You’re passionate about your own learning and development
  • You know when to ask for help, and you own your mistakes
  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity
