Job Description

Joining the HR & Travel Expenses team as a Payroll Consultant, you will primarily collaborate in the management of the ongoing payroll support in SAP. You will be responsible for delivering high quality support performance in accordance with the agreed Service Level Agreements and within the agreed budget. You will be participating in a multi-skilled customer-focused team of internal and external resources.

Opportunity to work in an international environment with a different nationalities team. Managing the payroll for several countries: Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, and possibility to participate in projects to implement other payroll countries.

ABOUT THE JOB:

As a SAP Payroll Consultant within TUI Group, you will be participating in the HR & travel Expenses team and provide support to the Technology Team Leader in helping.

Related to project work, you will support the implementation of process improvement initiatives and the standardization of business processes and systems. You will focus on the more technical aspects of the projects, like payroll developments, data migration, integration and coordination / participation in development work. You will ensure that issues and concerns are discussed and resolved quickly and effectively. You will co-ordinate detailed activities in implementing applications and infrastructures, ensuring the integration with other processes / teams.

You will manage the operational relationship with external near shore and offshore development and service providers with respect to planning, execution and quality control. A pro-active and prompt interaction with the end-user community is of vital importance to the success of the team.

Team:

HR & Travel expenses team manages the TUI corporate tools related to payroll and travel expenses. We are working in an international environment supporting HR departments for different countries.

ABOUT YOU:

  • SAP HCM process – Experience running all process related to deliver the payroll:
    – Payroll run and activities
    – Social security reports
    – Taxes reports
    – Payroll Accounting
    – Payroll payments
  • Customizing HCM:
    – Personnel administration
    – Payroll
    – Time Management
    – Organizational management
    – Self-service portal
  • Apply SAP Notes:
    – Responsible for the proper implementation of semi-annual legal change packages in HCM
    – SAP Note Issues & New legal requirements
  • Deep technical knowledge of the SAP Human Resource modules:
    – SAP HCM
    – SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. Integration with SAP HCM (CPI)
    – ABAP/4 programming
  • Support in Change Management Processes:
    – Participation in the cloud project for introducing Employee Central with a focus on migration and replication of employee master data
    – Coordination of external consultants
    – Onboarding of new users
  • Deep knowledge in payroll customizing, wage types, features, payroll scheme, payroll functions
  • Previous experience in SAP HR consulting
  • Knowledge of Human Resources business processes
  • Fluency in English and German is a must, other languages are a plus
