Job Description

The Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Process Automation is a team within the Technology & Data department in TUI Global Business Services. The CoE specialises in automating manual processes with technologies like RPA, Power Automate and Process Mining.

The Senior RPA Developer participates and leads Developer in the design, development, testing and implementation of intelligent process automation solutions. He/she work closely with the Business Analyst & business stakeholders in capturing process details and with the engagement team in implementing / testing the solution, as well as maintenance and change control of existing automations. During the development, he/she will be responsible for the development planning, setting development deadlines and keeping all stakeholders informed. Furthermore, to create awareness across all businesses of TUI, he/she will be responsible for creating content tailored to the various interested parties. He/She will work in an international, multi-cultural team and will also present the CoE in the different business areas of TUI as technical expert to estimate the effort of the development. He/She expertise will be key for Business Case calculations and resource planning. He/She will take over responsibility of an business area / customer to develop our business and act as in escalation instance if needed.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Coach, guide and develop more junior colleagues
  • Lead the design and implementation of assigned projects. Utilize resources effectively, mitigate risks and resolve roadblocks to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Capture, analyze and redact process requirements and design and document appropriate solutions for our clients
  • Design and develop process automation solutions, optimized for speed and scalability
  • Ensure requirements for development, testing and production are clearly communicated to project teams
  • Prepare and participate in testing activities, including integration, end-to-end and user acceptance testing
  • Provide knowledge and training of UiPath Software product for an Enterprise grade using UiPath RE Framework templates and with a component driven approach.
  • Learn and acquire new RPA / automation technologies and methodologies that improve capabilities, efficiency and effectiveness and keep up to date with latest developments
  • Responsibly for certain business areas as face to the customer, to develop new areas of business

ABOUT YOU

  • University degree or appropriate training in the field of informatics, information management, business sciences, business administration or deep knowledge and extensive experience gained in practice
  • 3+ Years of experience using UiPath Studio and UiPath Orchestrator
  • UiPath Advanced Developer Certification (UiARD) and relevant experience; notably working with RE Framework
  • Experience in coaching more junior colleagues
  • Experience in developing and managing areas (source markets) of our automation business
  • Analytical and numerical skills, extensive IT knowledge of other RPA technologies, .NET, C#, Java, SQL, WebServices, Python and/or “big data” analysis would be great
  • Good communication skills
  • Independent, self-reliant and focused way of working
  • Innovative, curious mind capable of seeing things in a different light and searching out new ways of doing things
  • Someone who can keep a clear overview while working on multiple projects
  • Affinity with change management and making people enthusiastic about new technologies
  • Experience working in a global matrix, multi-geography, multi-cultural environment
  • Fluent in English, German language skills is a plus
