TUI’s Sustainability team develops and ensures implementation of the group-wide TUI Sustainability Agenda with a focus on the environmental, economic, and social aspects set out in the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Delivering the Agenda will enable TUI to drive positive change at scale and enhance the positive impacts of tourism in its own operations and supply chain, across the wider industry and beyond. Being a leader in this area will help TUI become the first choice for customers, employees, and partners.

As a sustainability project manager you are responsible for implementing sustainability projects to achieve TUI’s SBTI goals.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Implement international projects of the sustainability strategy (e.g. CO2 reduction measures) to achieve the organization’s goals.
  • Drive plan and oversee project activities according to deadlines and budgets.
  • Ensure that actions and interventions comply with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Identify and analyze environmental and social risks and find solutions to minimize these risks.
  • Manage and control the project budget.
  • Coordinate the activities of the various stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on sustainable development.
  • Write reports on performance and results achieved.
  • Propose innovative initiatives to promote sustainable development in the organization and in society

ABOUT YOU

  • Successfully completed studies in business administration, sustainability and / or certified project manager
  • Experience as a project or multi-project manager to achieve agreed outcomes within a timeline, with experience in a consultancy or other fast-paced working environment an advantage
  • High level of initiative, structured, methodical approach and willingness to innovate and change
  • Very good skills in the preparation and presentation of decision papers
  • Intrinsic motivation to drive TUI’s Global Sustainability Strategy forward
  • Very good written and spoken English skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Experience in the area of sustainability
  • Experience of working in international teams
  • Team spirit
