Job Description
Part of the payroll team responsible for providing the payroll service for TUI UK & I. Ensure all payrolls are maintained in accordance to current policy and statutory legislation.
This role will need to communicate effectively with a wide range of areas, including employees, HR and managers. They will be expected to build exceptional working relationships with all key stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class service.

ABOUT THE JOB
- Ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Ensure all due data is received on time, and entered accurately.
- Review and check all data entered, also supplementary checks- including exceptional amounts, Starters, leavers, sickness, maternity, movement from prior month, negative nets etc.
- Process amendment forms and check entries
- Filing relevant documents
- Handling and resolving queries via phone and email
- Develop the relationship with customers /managers for their payroll.
- Help administer the end to end process relating to:
- Employee Self Service (ESS)
- Work with other team members, assisting and supporting as required.
- Have a full and up to date knowledge on statutory payroll legislation (UK and Ireland)
- Have a full and up to date knowledge of TUI T&Cs, benefits and business payroll processes.
- Understanding of Organisational structures as held on the system
- Have a knowledge and understanding of the various pension schemes and when changes are applicable
ABOUT YOU
• Experience of working in a high volume payroll is desirable
• Excellent customer service and telephone manner
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Good problem solving, organisational skills and attention to detail
• Basic Excel and Word knowledge.
• Aspire to a Payroll qualification, or become qualified by experience
