Job Description

Join Marella Cruises and help us become the UK's most loved cruise line by leading hotel refurbishment projects across our fleet. You'll drive innovative solutions and own the complete delivery of unique refurbishment works that directly enhance our guests' experiences.

The role will be published until 9th August 2026.

ABOUT OUR OFFER

  • Personal benefits: Attractive remuneration, discretionary bonus schemes, generous travel benefits, extensive health & well-being support, and more.
  • Flexible working: Work is something you do, not somewhere you go. We encourage a healthy work-life balance with a dynamic working environment, including hybrid working from our Southampton office with a minimum of one day per week in the office.
  • A career to shape: Access the TUI Learning Hub to level-up and reach your ambitions.
  • Broaden your network: We champion intercultural collaboration and provide opportunities to work on global projects and teams.
  • Community: Get involved with incredible local charity and sustainability initiatives like the TUI Care Foundation.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of hotel refurbishment projects across the Marella Cruises fleet, from initial scoping through to final handover, ensuring we meet quality, timescale and budget parameters.
  • Coordinate specialist resources and riding crews to ensure the right capability and readiness are in place to deliver approved refurbishment and maintenance works safely and effectively.
  • Define and manage work scopes for riding team activity, ensuring labour, tools, materials and access arrangements support safe, efficient and right-first-time delivery.
  • We'll trust you to manage the delivery of fleet signage works, coordinating with Product, Brand and operational teams to implement approved requirements to agreed standards.
  • Deliver standardised hotel refurbishment materials, specifications and equipment across projects, ensuring the correct products are selected and applied consistently across the fleet.
  • Maintain our approved materials and equipment library, keeping specifications current and ensuring vessel ordering remains aligned to approved requirements.

ABOUT YOU

  • Maritime experience is essential - you'll have proven experience in marine design, hotel refurbishment or related trades within the maritime industry, with a solid understanding of the constraints and legislation involved in marine projects.
  • Proven experience in planning and logistical support when managing contractor trades, with the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts effectively.
  • You'll bring broad working knowledge of equipment and materials manufacturers and suppliers supporting the marine hotel refurbishment industry.
  • We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in developing their expertise and applying it to enhance the customer product offering on Marella Cruises ships.
  • Strong decision-making abilities and comfort with complete end-to-end ownership in a small, agile team environment where you can drive a new way of working.

From a workplace to a place to belong. At TUI we embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion, encouraging everyone to come as you are, because together, our potential is limitless.

We are committed to supporting candidates with disabilities and impairments so if you require any support, please do let us know.
