Job Description

As part of our Digital Marketing Planning & Trading team, you’ll be working right at the heart of our business – supported with taking on real responsibilities, and the chance to work on exciting projects. You’ll gain a unique insight into our exciting and dynamic industry, with exposure to many other business areas and colleagues.

No matter where holiday-lovers are on the web, we want them to be able to find TUI. Our digital marketing team creates innovative and inspiring digital campaigns to increase online sales of our TUI brands and products. Using key digital marketing channels such as paid search, social marketing, video, display and affiliates marketing, we run campaigns with the likes of Google, YouTube, Facebook, MailOnline, and Mediacom.

You’ll play a key role in our digital marketing team by assisting with the processes behind how we spend our digital marketing budget, real time improvement of digital marketing activity and communicating with colleagues about what we do. This role is focussed on how digital marketing drives business and commercial success. Being comfortable working with data as well as communicating clearly with others is vital for this role.

This could be an ideal opportunity for someone who is agency based and looking for their first client-side role or someone who enjoys working with data as well as collaborating with teams and is interested in the world of digital marketing.

This role can be based predominantly remotely with our office location being Luton, the successful candidate will join the team to collaborate at least 1 day a week. ABOUT THE JOB

  • Support the Planning and Trading team, utilising excellent communication skills to act as a bridge between the Digital Marketing team and the rest of the business.
  • Get to know other teams such as digital marketing channel specialists (e.g. Paid Search team, Social Media team etc), analysts, creatives & designers, commercial and finance teams, working alongside them and building strong relationships.
  • Assist with reviewing how we spend our digital marketing budget, support with planning across different types of digital marketing media and create reports on how it helps us achieve our business goals.
  • Use data and insights to analyse digital marketing performance and provide ideas on how to improve.
  • Keep a close eye on the travel market, producing market reviews and digital marketing performance reports, developing storytelling techniques to present back to colleagues across the business.
  • Support with commercial alignment via the collation of promotions, offers and creative requirements.
  • Carry out operational tasks to help with correct set up of marketing plans, performance trackers, market monitoring, media planning, creative auditing and reporting, looking out for time and cost saving opportunities in how we work.
  • Assist the team on strategic projects and tasks to support all TUI product areas.
  • Keep up to date on digital marketing activity across the team to cover team leave as required.

ABOUT YOU

  • Comfortable working with data, taking an analytical approach to solving problems
  • Basic Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to produce graphs, basic data analysis and presentations.
  • Quick to learn in an evolving industry
  • Able to break down detailed information into clear recommendations and communicate it easily
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment and able to build strong relationships
  • Comfortable in presenting to groups
  • Results driven and commercially aware
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to stay organised and prioritise in a fast paced but exciting environment
  • An understanding of the role of digital marketing in driving business success
  • A passion for marketing, as well an interest in the travel industry
  • Able to travel to Luton based office at least one day per week
