Job Description

This role is responsible for delivering best in class systems and processes for hotel and information content across TUI UK&I and TUI Group. This involves leading the UK Product, Dynamic Content & Content Delivery Teams through a key period of technological change, whilst collaborating with our Global Content, Transformation teams and other markets. With your team you will be managing the UK content management systems, PIM, data requirements, brochure production and set up / accuracy of all TUI & First Choice product content.

You’ll manage a large team, a multi-million-pound print budget, and act as the Northern Region Content Business Lead on wider transformational and strategic change projects. The role requires a high level of adaptability, process knowledge, team management skills, stakeholder management skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and content knowledge. Additionally, a proven experience of using AI to generate product content and automation to support process would be desirable.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Be the UK and Northern Region business lead for technology transformation
  • Manage UK priorities to ensure hotel and specialist holiday content is produced to the shortest timescale, with high accuracy and best practice standards for TUI, Marella Cruises & First Choice
  • Lead a Large Team through rapid technological change, while focusing on team wellbeing, people development and DE&I
  • Ensure Data Integrity: Ensuring data integrity in systems by monitoring issues, managing bulk data changes, and writing user stories and acceptance criteria for content-related changes
  • Manage Print and Brochure Budget: The role holder will manage a multi-million-pound print, brochure budget, ensuring sufficient coverage and minimal wastage in retail. We have had some key projects driven from this team around the future of brochure production which we would like to be driven forwards

ABOUT YOU

  • Adaptability and leadership: Ability to adapt and take the lead on product content and the technology stack.
  • Process experience: Knowledge of LEAN methodologies and experience in influencing business and technical change. Experience in change management and process improvement.
  • Team management: Significant large team management experience, leading terms through periods of change with a keen interest in team engagement and DE&I
  • Project management: Appreciation of project management methods, including Agile and more formal frameworks.
  • Communication and stakeholder management: Clear communication skills, effective stakeholder management, and experience working with SMEs, IT developers, and a global matrix.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, considering upstream and downstream implications to prioritise issues.
  • Budget management: Proven experience of managing large budgets.
  • Technical knowledge: Knowledge of PIM/CMS principles and integration with other systems. Delivering AI and automation process would be a bonus.
